Hello and welcome!

I’m Michelle, a Licensed Masters of Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Michigan, and a proud alumna of the number one social work program in the nation - The School of Social Work at The University of Michigan!

I have over thirty years of experience empowering my clients through therapy. Most commonly, I’m called upon to deal with issues such as anxiety and sexual health. I offer individual and couples therapy sessions in my offices in downtown Hillsdale as well as Jackson, Michigan.

Feel free to explore my Psychology Today profile here

Also, I was honored to be a part of the "See A Therapist" series with host and therapist, Jesse Kauffman, LMSW; watch that video here

I hold multiple certifications and facilitator credits, including in the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) protocol, Personal Action Toward Health (PATH) and Diabetes-Specific  PATH (a Stanford University Chronic Disease Self-Management Program--CDSMP), and Hungerwise (an intuitive eating program).  I am qualified to make assessments regarding guardianship for cognitively and developmentally impaired individuals, substance abuse assessments, and driver’s license reinstatement assessments.  The work I am most proud of is my recent completion of national certification requirements with the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) to become a Certified Sex Therapist. I am a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex, Asexual (LGBTQIA) affirmative therapist, and I promote a sex-positive culture.

Inn Saei translated literally means “The Sea Within.” Alternate meanings of Inn Saei include “to see within” and “to see from the inside out.” I view my role as your therapist as a mind navigator—navigating your mind with you so together we can discover your inner resources for change and peace in your life -- resources that have, in fact, been there all along-- your inner and wise self.

Come ask me about "Monkey Mind" and how you can learn to live your life on your terms to realize your full creative potential.

Please feel free to explore this site, and if you find you have any additional questions or concerns, I invite you to reach out to me here.

“If you have come to help me, you are wasting your time. But if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.”

- Lilla Watson

This tree is living on the  Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan—despite Life happening and rock falling out from under it, the tree has managed to thrive by staying connected to the mainland.  You, too, have the skills to thrive in Life and to stay connected.  Let’s discover your Life together!
